April 27th

Dorney Wetlands

The morning was fine and there was the same lot of birds we've had all week. There was a  spectacular thunderstorm early afternoon but the only new birds seemed to be a handful of wheatear (3m, 2f).

The full half-dozen redshank were here this afternoon calling and flying from one marsh to the other while the pair of shelduck seem to share their time between the lagoons on the sewage farm and both marshes on the reserve.

Note: view the "Status bar" (View menu) to see a log of the birds today
